What is the JPRLC?Formed in 2002, the Joint Parish Respect Life Committee (JPRLC) has members, over the years coming from 20 different parishes within the Diocese of Brooklyn. Its members meet monthly at St. Josaphat's Rectory Basement Conference Room, Bayside.
The purpose of the Committee is to respond to the cultural battles in which we find ourselves in order to defend the sanctity of Life, most particularly unborn life, and to protect the foundation of our society, the Family. Members respond by themselves and with their parishes to proposed legislation by publicizing the facts and by writing/phoning/visiting their district representatives. In June 2019, Florence Maloney transitioned the leadership of the Committee to Thomas Murawski and Philip McManus, Co-Chairmen. If you would like to attend committee meetings please contact Thomas Murawski, Chairman. |
