Early Saturday morning a Hispanic couple was sent by Jamaica Hospital to the abortion facility, All Women's Health Pavilion, located on Queens Boulevard. The pregnant mother was given a test that failed to show a fetal heartbeat. Members of the Helpers of God's Precious Infants, which was founded by Msgr. Philip J. Reilly, were able to talk to the couple with the help of Fr. Robert Czok, who speaks Spanish.
We were able to give the couple helpful information and arranged a quick meeting with them and the Sisters of Life. A few days later we all were informed that the baby's heartbeat was heard and the baby was healthy. I was able to give the couple information for them to go to The Bridge to Life in College Point to get supplies for their 3-year-old.
God bless all the active pro-lifers who pray and witness each week outside abortion facilities. They aren't afraid to try to protect the unborn babies and their parents. It is very hard.
