Dear Editor:
Thank you for being “The Pro-Life Newspaper.” As a volunteer at Bridge to Life, in College Point, I see and hear so many untold stories that the mothers sometimes reveal while they receive support and so many necessary items for their children and for themselves. These wonderful mothers are all very grateful and they come from Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, The Bronx, and even from Long Island and Yonkers. They travel by bus, train, or Uber. Francesca Yellico is doing a fantastic job serving as the executive director along with her small staff.
As an active member of the Helpers of God’s Precious Infants, established by Monsignor Philip J. Reilly, a group of us witness to women entering the abortion facility called All Women’s Health in Kew Gardens. Unfortunately, we see the other side on Saturday mornings. We pray and try to counsel these mothers. With Jesus’s help there have been some turnarounds over the years.
Let us all believe and remember that Jesus, the Son of Man, assumed the condition of a pre-born child in the womb of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This sanctified and elevated every woman’s womb for all time and every human whose life begins at conception. Jesus could have begun his life in another manner but he took on the total human existence from conception to death.
Let us support and bless all mothers and pray that every infant in the womb receive God’s precious gift of life.
